Congratulations to the applicants selected by the second Kentucky medical cannabis business license lottery! This lottery selected eligible applicants for dispensary licenses in regions 3-11. A separate lottery will be held on December 16th for dispensary licenses in regions 1-2, as well as Fayette and Jefferson counties.

On December 1, authorized practitioners can provide written certifications for medical cannabis to qualified patients. A written certification from an authorized practitioner is required to register for a medical cannabis card beginning January 1, 2025.
