I enjoyed participating in Centre College’s Women’s Leadership Conference and sharing about my experience serving in public office with students. Kentucky’s future is bright with these young leaders!

This afternoon, I met with the Commonwealth Council of Developmental Disabilities to discuss recent audits conducted by my office & how that work can help individuals with disabilities. This group is doing exceptional work to ensure that Kentuckians with developmental disabilities are empowered and included.

I had the honor of participating in the second annual Kentucky Jewish Heritage Day to celebrate the contributions of Jewish Kentuckians across the Commonwealth. Congratulations to Rabbi Avrohom Litvin for receiving the Louis Brandeis Kentucky Jewish Heritage Icon Award.

I enjoyed speaking with students from Butler Traditional High School during their visit to Frankfort about how my office serves as a watchdog of Kentucky taxpayer dollars, overseeing over 600 audits each year.

I'm pleased to see the Senate pass Senate Bill 257, a bill that provides resources to create the Kentucky Office of Government Efficiency within the Auditor’s Office, restoring the use of performance audits to increase efficiency and eliminate waste. Now, onto the House!

This morning, I discussed Senate Bill 257 with the Senate State and Local Government Committee. This bill establishes the Kentucky Office of Government Efficiency within the Auditor’s Office, restoring the use of performance audits to increase efficiency and eliminate waste.

I was pleased to see the House Committee on Families and Children pass Senate Bill 85 this morning. This bill is an important step in ensuring the Commonwealth Office of the Ombudsman has clear access to the child and adult data housed in the iTWIST database.

I was honored to be a part of the Kentucky Right to Life rally today, joining alongside hundreds of Kentuckians from across the Commonwealth in standing for the sanctity of life at every stage.
