Hello Kent Justice Foundation Community, It's finally here! In two weeks our biggest and most exciting event of the year, our annual spring fundraiser and auction, will take place (so Thursday, March 6), and it's time to buy your tickets to support a great cause! BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW! All money raised from the event goes to funding your peers who are working in unpaid public interest summer internships this summer (with applications for funding available soon!). Your ticket comes with phenomenal food, drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic), raffle prizes (5 free raffle tickets!), the ability to participate in a 50/50 cash raffle, and the opportunity to bid with your friends on exciting professor experiences. All for some seriously low ticket prices! Raffle prizes include: hundreds of dollars off in bar prep courses, Barristers Ball tickets (including guest tickets), escape room tickets, Zanies comedy club tickets, White Sox tickets, fancy whiskey, hot yoga vouchers, an air fryer, and so much more! KJF presents CHANGE WARS??! Each class, along with each 1L Section (A, B, and C) will be pitted against each other in a battle of quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies! Each cent is worth one point. ?? However... Cash will TAKE AWAY points, so each dollar you add to your rival classes and sections will remove 100 points! ?? The class or section with the most points ?? will be awarded THREE FREE raffle tickets (per attendee) at KJF's annual spring auction on Thursday, March 6th! Change Wars will run from next Monday, February 17th up until the spring auction! Check for us in front of the Spak around lunchtime!

Kent Justice Foundation is hosting a trivia night this Wednesday, November 6th to raise money for public interest scholarships. Join us at the 10th floor Morris Hall, where we’ll have classic trivia rounds, questions submitted by your favorite co-sponsor student groups, and a 1L legal questions round to help with finals review! Also on deck, special appearances by some of your favorite professors. Each team table fits roughly 10 people. Come alone or in smaller groups and team up with other students and professors the night of or bring a whole team; both are encouraged! The winning prizes include gift cards to some of our favorite Chicago bars and restaurants. Early-bird tickets are just $15 and include dinner from Oasis Cafe. We had such an incredible year! Some of our achievements include: -Holding events with over 100 attendees in both the spring and fall semesters ?? -More than doubling our fundraising at these events from the previous year ?? -Giving out 14 summer fellowships for peers doing unpaid public interest work???? We would like to give a huge thanks to the graduating board members for all of their hard work this past year and throughout their time at Chicago-Kent! None of this would have been possible without you all! We will do our best to continue your legacy and we know you will embody KJF's values for the rest of your careers!
