Controlling the quality is what we do. From prep to pour, our DFW team knows how to manage every detail—and it showed with a 25,000 SF slab on grade pour delivered in Denton, TX. Accepting the challenge means owning every step, and that’s exactly what we did. Go RED!

We brought a small glimpse of the Kent Companies experience to the Trade & Business Fair at Caledonia High School. With tools and equipment ready to go, 1,600 students from West Michigan high schools got a feel for building with Kent, starting with our signature red helmets. Shout out to Kent Concrete Foreman Noel Gonzales and intern Ethan Vega for connecting with students and sharing what it’s really like to build a career in construction — from learning the ropes to the opportunities and rewards that come with the job.

Big changes are happening in Charlotte! Our crew is making serious progress on the OMB Office Renovation—a 14,000+ SF project with BenCo Construction. This one called for some creative problem-solving. Since it’s a renovation, we brought in Maxxon Corporation solutions for a turnkey approach. We poured and sealed trenches with concrete and Isolate, used Maxxon Profile to prep the surface, and applied Maxxon Isolate for moisture mitigation on the existing slab. To top it off, Level EZ went down across the project to create a smooth, level surface for the final flooring.

Productivity is driven by teamwork, and our work at Studio Park Tower is a perfect example. The crew ditched the "normal" setup and hand-delivered the electric pump and material to the 22nd floor. Because of narrow corridors, we set up the pump in a hallway and tarped off the area to protect walls and smoke detectors. Despite these obstacles, our West Michigan crew adapted, kept the flow steady, and knocked it out of the park. Go RED!

Our team showed up and delivered—just like we knew they would. Our first elevated slab pour is in the books for the Residence Inn by Marriot in downtown San Antonio. 7,767 SF and 285 CY poured 10" thick. We’re gaining momentum, staying ahead of schedule, and keeping things moving with EBCO General Contractor, LTD.. More to come!

A strong foundation for future learners. At Linder Elementary School in Austin, we're building a space where students will learn and grow for years to come. Our team is placing 60,000 SF of elevated slab over 256 piers, the first step in transforming this campus. Partnering with Bartlett Cocke General Contractors, this multi-phase project will eventually replace the old school with outdoor learning spaces, ponds, 40,000 SF of sidewalks, and 20,000 SF of additional paving.
