Big day for the Kennedy Tank manufacturing team yesterday as we shipped this 90,000 pound heavy wall ASME pressure vessel with a litany of NDE, jacketing, nozzles, internals, etc. This was a heck of a project totaling over 3,000 man hours and the team knocked it out of the park. We have several vessels flying through our paint and blast building, and they will be ready to ship this week to customers throughout the country. This custom stainless ASME pressure vessel is 12'-0" diameter X 33'-0" tangent length with a carbon steel skirt and internal grating. Our paint and blast team takes pride in the cleanliness of our stainless vessels, tanks, and exchangers, and we have the capacity available for 2025. The Kennedy Tank team is taking advantage of this cold weather break to complete as many hydro tests as possible over the next three days. We have been hydro testing ASME pressure vessels indoors when possible, but these big vessels and tanks are too tall. Therefore, they will be hydro-tested today on our new hydro pad and signed off by our third-party inspector. Please take a look at these impressive vessels on the pad and in our staging area. Our team will blast and paint all of the carbon vessels, and the stainless vessels will be cleaned and washed post-hydro. Our very proactive safety culture puts a ton of time and effort into training. Yesterday, Melanie Komasinski, ASP, and Scott Munns led a crane training session with ten new hires. Melanie and Scott went over the basics of rigging and how to use our cranes safely and efficiently.
