Bryan and Katherine Kelly were beyond proud as they celebrated the marriage of their daughter, Georgia, to James Salter. The wedding took place on the Kellys’ picturesque West Acre Farm in Darlington on Saturday, October 12. After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the Salters will be living in Darlington.

This festive event aimed to raise funds for the Harford Land Trust’s vital conservation efforts in Harford County. Attendees from The Kelly Group included Chad and Daria Arrington, Jacob and Shannon Adkins, and Rick and Vanessa Fletcher, who enjoyed an evening of local cuisine, beverages, and live music. The inaugural CFP Board Connections Conference took place from September 29 to October 1, 2024, in Washington, DC. The event brought together financial planning professionals, educators, students, and industry leaders. The conference combined elements from various CFP Board events, offering networking opportunities, professional development, and continuing education. Its goal was to advance the financial planning profession and promote diversity and inclusion within the industry. Sessions included discussions on the economic outlook, best practices, trends, and innovations from leading financial services firms, all focused on enhancing professional growth and collaboration. On September 22, 2024, Rick Fletcher, CFP?, ChFEBC? and Vanessa Fletcher were honored to represent The Kelly Group at The Historical Society of Harford County’s 2024 Annual Dinner, celebrating our commitment to community engagement and heritage. The event took place at the Historical Society’s newly renovated headquarters in Bel Air. Guests enjoyed a presentation by reenactor Alisa Dupuy as Adrienne de Lafayette, wife of General Lafayette, a hero of the American Revolution. One of the evening’s highlights was witnessing George Harrison (current Vice President and Financial Chair) receive the Archer Fellow Award for his long-term service and dedication to The Historical Society of Harford County. Candace comes to us with ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Candace is a graduate of The John Carroll School in Bel Air and earned her Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University. She has spent time studying and living abroad in the Czech Republic and Australia. “I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of The Kelly Group,” Candace says. “I was drawn to The Kelly Group for their strong values of community not only in the office but also in the greater Harford County community. The U.S. Army Garrison at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, hosted a Retiree Appreciation Day on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event was held at the Post Rec Center. It was open to military retirees, their spouses, other family members, and active-duty service members interested in learning more about retirement. ?
