Liana Hsu is currently completing her exchange program at Melbourne Business School in Australia. During her time there, she participated in the Doing Business in Australia course, which is an intensive one-week course, and took a wine tasting trip with her class. She also watched the Australian Open with fellow friends, and has been soaking up some Australian sun!?? ? We are so happy to hear that our students are making unforgettable memories while abroad and we look forward to hearing from other exchange students soon. ? This week, we are excited to highlight one of our current outbound exchange students, along with a couple of her favorite exchange photos from this Winter quarter. Yijun(Juno) Gu is currently completing her exchange program at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. During her time there, she has explored the iconic Matterhorn with new MBA friends. Juno also celebrated a group win in the International Entrepreneurship class in St. Gallen, where her team of three MBA students from different schools won first place for their pitch – a jewelry and tech brand with a “female-to-female” empowerment theme. ?? ? "The brainstorming and collaboration with peers from diverse backgrounds [was] unforgettable – and we won sweet Swiss Lindt chocolate as our prize!" - Juno Gu. ?? Congratulations to Juno! This week, we had the chance to bring our ACE 2024 cohort together for a reunion! It’s hard to believe Kellogg Global Experience welcomed these bright students just 7 months ago! They have all already accomplished so much in such a short amount of time and we are so proud!

Last week, we kicked off our first training for approximately 150 KWEST leaders?who are gearing up to create unforgettable experiences for the incoming Kellogg class. With a leader population that is 50% women and 33% international, our first training of the year was a powerful reminder of KWEST's mission to build connections that transcend borders and boundaries. ? The session covered key aspects of trip planning, safety protocols, and creating inclusive, memorable moments for all participants. We also had an inspiring panel of seasoned leaders share their advice and insights on how to make every KWEST trip impactful. ? We're thrilled to see this amazing group of leaders shaping a legacy of meaningful connections at Kellogg. Our team kicked off our first-ever Global Speaker Series yesterday by hearing from Jack Nicas, the Brazil Bureau Chief for the New York Times. Jack shared insights about former president Jair Bolsanaro, the high impact of Brazil's Supreme Court (which took on Elon Musk and won), and the trade-offs between rainforest preservation, corporate development, and climate change. We are thrilled to share that 82 Full-Time students have set off on their exchange programs for the Winter quarter – spreading out across 17 partner schools around the world! ???? ? Please join me in a ?? warm welcome (pun absolutely intended) to our ??2025 Winter Exchange cohort??. Representing 10 nationalities from 7 of our partner schools, these students have braved the cold to spend the next 10 weeks on campus soaking up all that Kellogg has to offer (even if that doesn't include much sun in the winter months)! We're so glad they're here and can't wait to see all that they accomplish!
