This past Friday, members of the Business Operations Consulting Workshop traveled to Indianapolis for an insightful day of firm visits, broadening our understanding of the ways in which strategic decision-making, technology, and innovation drive supply chain excellence across various industries. We began the day at the Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust Museum, where we got an inside look at the rich history and engineering excellence behind manufacturing aerospace components. The second half of the day took us to Target's Indianapolis Distribution Center, where we had the opportunity to tour their operations and gain valuable insights into the efficient logistics, inventory management, and complexities involved in meeting customer demand in a fast-paced retail environment. A huge thank you to both Rolls-Royce and Target for their hospitality!
