After over four years of dedication, expertise, and unwavering support, David Owen is officially hanging up his operations trainer hat at Keller Trucking. While he insists he's "not one for speeches," his impact speaks volumes. At his farewell gathering, Dave kept it short and sweet: "I am not one for speeches, but I appreciate my time here and all involved. Thank you for always helping me, and I hope I was able to help others a little along my way." But before he could finish, there were some questions of —"just a little?"— a true collective testament to just how much he’s done for everyone around him. Dave has been more than just a trainer; he’s been a mentor, a problem-solver, and a steady presence for his team. His ability to guide, support, and teach has shaped so many at Keller, leaving a lasting mark on the operation. As he steps into retirement, we thank him for every lesson, every encouraging word, and every moment he spent making our team stronger. Bring your friends and family to this family friendly event, taking place at Keller Logistics Group's new Headquarters in Defiance, Ohio. Runners will complete a 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) course. Walkers will have the option of completing a 3.1 mile, or 1 mile course. Operation K.A.V.I.C. is a non-profit based in Defiance, Ohio, which assists veterans in crisis. Honoring Tom Keller’s Legacy on His Birthday ?? Today, we celebrate the birthday of Tom Keller, whose values and vision built Keller Logistics Group into what it is today. Born on December 20, 1933, Tom’s journey—from his boyhood on a watermelon farm in Indiana to becoming a successful entrepreneur in Defiance, Ohio—inspired a legacy of hard work, innovation, and community commitment. Tom’s dedication to solving customer challenges and treating people with kindness and respect shaped not just our company, but also the way we care for our customers and support our community. Joined by Bryan Keller, Karen Keller, and the Keller team, we honored Tom’s life with his favorite German Chocolate Cake and stories of his incredible impact.
