Contractors, Closers & Connections (CCC) of Dallas and Kellas Productions have teamed up to capture the faces of our rapidly growing network. Headshots will be provided at no cost to attendees of our July 10th Partnering at the Plaza event! Kellas Productions is a Video Production & Media company with a mission to "Preserve Professional Legacy" meeting business goals and integrating clear?messaging through video branding. They help small and medium-sized businesses tell their stories with the enthusiasm of the people behind the organization, focusing on personal brand and authenticity. They launched in West Virginia in 2015, relocating to DFW in 2019 with dreams to help others tell their stories, capture testimonials, and create video content to improve their communications internally to their team and externally to their audiences. It was a surreal and awesome moment to attend the 54th Metrocrest Annual Awards Luncheon not as a videographer, but as a recipient of the Small Business of the Year 2024 award with Metrocrest Chamber Of Commerce As many of you have watched me since my earliest days, my spirit for entrepreneurship and passion for video storytelling have been a part of my persona since age 11. I accepted my fate as an entrepreneur, and stuck with it, getting frustrated, giving up, and bouncing back after failures countless times. Soon, we'll be celebrating 9 years in business. To say that I'm humbled is an understatement. I knew all of my small actions were making an impact on the chamber, but I truly underestimated what the combination of all these small steps had added up to. Less than 250 weeks after moving from Wheeling WV to DFW – my participation in the chamber and beyond led me to be an integral part of this community, connecting others as I grew my network. Walking across a stage to accept an award is easy. Showing up every day to be a part of a small business and earn your stripes is difficult. My networking goal from the beginning has been to add value, be aggressively generous, and get to know people who I can grow beside by working together with our career hours. This may seem simple or obvious, but it's a rock solid foundation I think all small business owners should aspire to. So support local businesses with your patronage, start a business yourself, and ask business owners in your network how you can get active in the pursuit of their own American Dream!
