This was a very special cleanup that we have been looking forward to for so long! Thanks so much to?Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA?Pro Angler Ish Monroe, the Yamaha Rightwaters crew, and especially the volunteers for making this cleanup so impactful even if afternoon storms did end it a little early! Ish and the volunteers worked hard and filled up an entire trash boat, showing their passion for our precious Tennessee River. In a couple of hours, these volunteers were able to remove 53 bags of trash, a tractor tire, five buckets, and much more to total 1,662 lbs. of trash removed from Guntersville Lake on the Tennessee River! Thanks so much to?Alred Marina Llc?for allowing us to launch from their property and to the?City of Guntersville?for collecting and recycling the tires our volunteers collected. We've got more pictures and a special treat video to come from this incredible cleanup coming soon.
