A connection with nature builds strong, healthy, interactive communities, and community members. We are here to support you in your efforts to strengthen your community. Keeler Gardens maintains a nature space on the north side of Chicago, in a residential neighborhood, open to the public every day. It is a certified native wildlife habitat, a monarch waystation, certified by Conservation@Home, and home to an Illinois native pollinator habitat. We also support community cats and host beehives, along with a multitude of other programs. All in an urban community, for the community. We created this space as an example of what inspired action can accomplish. Your community can do the same, take advantage of everything a nature space has to offer. Increase your children’s foundational skills with a nature play space; encourage respect and reverence with sustainable native plants; instill wonder by planting trees; build community with edible gardens; and reduce stress, aggression, and fatigue with simple, diverse designs. Keeler Gardens is here to help you make all of that possible. We can guide you, teach you, work alongside you, or just be an inspiration. How can we help you strengthen your community?
