And it’s not just local – both are making a nationwide impact: ??? JE Dunn is one of the largest contractors in the U.S., creating iconic spaces, from performing arts centers and presidential libraries to the groundbreaking CPKC Stadium. ?? J. Rieger & Co. is setting KC back on the map for whiskey, distilling the first whiskey here since Prohibition, and has expanded its distribution to 26 states. ?? The design industry is all about celebrating unique spaces. The KC Global Design Advisory Board gathered to do just that at its final meeting + holiday social. Located in the West Bottoms, In the Lowest Ferns was the perfect backdrop to spark creativity and innovative thinking as the group wrapped up 2024 and looked ahead to 2025.

Ashley McDonald was honored with the AIA Kansas City President’s Award, which celebrates individuals who tirelessly advocate for the ongoing success of the region's architecture, engineering and construction (A/E/C) community. This recognition underscores the collective efforts of the KC Global Design network, as we work together to position KC as a top destination for design.
