?? I recently received a heavy and unexpected package that brought back some incredible memories. ???? When I anxiously opened it, inside the box was my beautiful NAAEI President’s Award in recognition of my service to our industry. Reflecting on my time at the recent Assembly of Delegates meeting, I am filled with gratitude for the last four years of leadership at NAAEI. Leading NAAEI has been the highlight of my volunteer journey, and it wasn’t without its challenges. We made some tough decisions—often unpopular—but every choice was essential for the advancement of our institute. I deeply appreciate the support from those who understood the need for strategic change and the financial investment required to achieve it. I take immense pride in the accomplishments of NAAEI and our ongoing commitment to the industry. A heartfelt thank you to the NAAEI Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and the NAA Executive Leadership Team for your dedication and hard work. As Martin Luther King, Jr. wisely said, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” I’ve found a special place for my “big glass circle” (as my boys call it) in my home office, and I look forward to what lies ahead as I continue my service at the national level. Our students at Providence Cristo Rey High School had an incredible experience at the Corporate Work Study Program Job Fair! With over 40 Corporate Partners in attendance, the event was a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their skills and explore future career paths. Students participated in a series of interviews to secure their CWS positions where they'll work one day a week for the next one to four years.
