Many KBP corporate employees have worked in restaurants at some point, but ALL get to learn the art of breading and frying delicious chicken. It’s great hands-on experience with the work KBP does and always time well spent with the people our Home Office serves: our restaurant employees! Today Accounts Payable, Talent Acquisition, and Community Relations all learned from the best – Mike Valenti and Roxana Ruiz – and gave a true chicken master, Jaime, a brief rest. The end result? Delicious chicken of course! Congrats Alejandro Tovar, Maggie Lister, Lauren Porter, and Nic Bridges on becoming chicken masters!?

Yesterday we shared our space with our longtime friends at Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer and new friends from Top Gun Kansas City. Time well spent with organizations and individuals doing great things in our hometown! Deliece Hofen Kim Stanley, MBA Kelli Ramey
Top Gun Kansas City March event is going to be tough to top! I am so thankful for Deliece Hofen, Kim Stanley, MBA, and Azure Miller for sharing the story and impact of Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer. They are a fantastic nonprofit that every person in KC needs to get to know. Also, we appreciate KBP Brands hospitality and hosting our event in their amazing headquarters. And lastly, thank you to Jake Jacobson for making it all happen and introducing me to the team at Braden’s Hope. See you all in April! ?? credit: AshleyMarie Marie and Everyday Essence Photography

Our Employee Resource Groups are one of the many ways KBP works to ensure all employees feel valued. These groups help connect employees across all four of our restaurant brands from our headquarters to our drive-thrus across the country. Our ERGs consistently deliver content that’s informative, thought-provoking, energizing, emotional … or in this month's Black History presentation, all of the above! ? Many thanks to Rev. Nathan Knight who had attendees of Thursday's meeting laughing, crying, and applauding. Many thanks to our Black Employee Resource Group committee and all our ERGs for continuing to plan meetings that educate and celebrate our amazing team! Photo: Rev. KBP operates restaurants in 32 states and our 20,000+ employees cheer for a LOT of different teams. But, it’s Super Bowl week and our headquarters is in Kansas City ... so this week we’re all sporting red. KFC red, Arby’s red, Sonic red, and of course, CHIEFS red! The Kansas City Business Journal's list of "Twenty to Know" in the restaurant business includes Heather Stege, president of KBP Inspired (our Arby's division) and Chair of ARCOP, Arby's national supply chain co-op, whose enthusiasm for the 120 restaurants she leads sometimes includes swapping her suit jacket for a very on-brand, roast-beef-themed hoodie. Here's to a great leader we are very proud to know!??Congrats Heather! (https://lnkd.in/gsiF_UV3)

More roast beef and curly fries from KBP! This week we opened two new Arby's locations in Maryland - Annapolis on Saturday and Bel Air on Tuesday bringing our total restaurant count to 1,100! Congrats to Restaurant General Managers Darryl Moss and Aimee Mack on their new restaurants and many thanks to the army of KBP employees who got these Arby's built and staffed to get the meats cooking! Corn dogs. Costumes. Community. Yesterday SONIC Drive-In offered 50-cent corn dogs that brought countless creative costumes inside and outside our restaurants. At KBP's 85 SONIC locations, we sold an average of two corn dogs per second! Congrats to the entire team on a great day – you’re our knights in shining armor! Mark Everett

Howling winds and rain didn’t dampen the fun we had at KBP's 6th annual Trunk or Treat yesterday. With so many darling trunk displays, creative costumes, and catering from our very own Taco Bell, it was a spooktacular event! A huge thank you to everyone who helped create such a memorable event for our Home Office families. Here’s wishing everyone a fun and safe Halloween! Recently two of our SONIC Drive-In General Managers, Taylor Bell and David Farmerie, and their teams were named among the Top 12 Drive-Ins in the U.S.! After months of competition on service, quality, efficiency, and more, they qualified for the National Finals of the DR. PEPPER SONIC GAMES in Las Vegas where our Newberry, SC, team won the Spirit Award for their exceptional teamwork and positive attitudes, and LeAnn Wells, Newberry Co-Manager, took second place overall in the Swamp/Kitchen competition. Both teams also earned $10,000 for local classroom projects in their hometowns from the SONIC Foundation. Congratulations to Taylor and David whose exceptional leadership, boundless energy, and encouragement led their teams to this amazing opportunity. Well done team!

KBP proudly supported Down Syndrome Innovations’ 22nd annual golf tournament today! With over 40 KBP volunteers and 15 players, we were honored to donate time and money to our longtime nonprofit partner, helping individuals with Down syndrome reach their full potential. A great day of golf for an even greater cause.
