Stepping up.... This month, KBA’s Florida Office stepped in to donate to Growing Together Behavior Center (“GTBC,” Jacksonville, FL). The donation was used to pay for a new playground for the kids after the GTBC’s most recent playground was stolen in June. A Go Fund Me Page caught the firm's attention after seeing a news report. She is building upon her prior experience with the BHR artificial hips mass tort MDL there. Much more to come as her catastrophic injury practice in North Carolina (trucking collisions, nursing home, med mals, etc.) and mass tort practice continues to thrive.

Great time with the KBA team at Maryland Association for Justice, Inc. this weekend to honor Maryland Trial Lawyers of the year, KBA’s own, Reza Davani and Tara Eberly from JJS. Nice to have the nursing home team that has secured 9M and 1.6M jury verdicts for clients within the last year at the event to celebrate with him.

Awesome to have our partner Whitney up for the MAJ event. Excited to have Whitney working with Reza Davani on nursing home cases in North Carolina and trucking collision cases there as well. Whitney has done great work for our mass tort (failed toes like Cartiva, failed and defective hernia mesh, and other medical devices including knees, elbows, and shoulders) and our institutional sex abuse survivors.
