On August 17th, we were the presenting sponsor for the Los Angeles Sparks' "Celebrating Cancer Survivors" game at Crypto.com Arena. In front of over 15,000 fans, our Anthem associates in attendance cheered on longtime LA Sparks season ticket member, Wanda Denny, a 10-year cancer survivor, as she kicked off the night by delivering the game ball. Norma Magana, a one-year cancer survivor, represented the community during our special Community Spotlight, and she received a pink Play4Kay Foundation t-shirt signed by all of the LA Sparks players. Throughout the night, the LA Sparks recognized cancer survivors in the arena on the "Hero Cam" and featured them on the jumbotron, celebrating their strength and resilience. They also hosted a silent auction benefitting Play4Kay, a foundation honoring women's basketball legend Kay Yow and her battle with breast cancer. An LA Sparks signed basketball, game-worn shoes, and a Kia Nurse game-worn jersey were all auctioned off in support of the foundation. Thank you to all involved who made this special night possible. We're proud to team up and turn cancer awareness into action.
