Patrons enjoyed the artistry of world-renowned musician and Grammy-nominated organist Cameron Carpenter in the Kauffman Center’s Helzberg Hall on Tuesday. We are still awestruck from the breathtaking sounds created from the Julia Irene Dennie-Kauffman Casavant Organ, Opus 3875. Last week, Spotlight Premier members were treated to a beautiful reception and dinner in the Kauffman Center. This annual dinner, which ushers in the fall performance season, is one of the many ways we thank these special donors for their generosity and dedication to the performing arts. The International Association of Venue Managers has unveiled its 2024 venue award recipients and among them are the Kauffman Center’s CVP and Director of Theater Operations, Sara Beatty, and Manager of Patron Services, Madisen Pool. Beatty was honored with the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award, while Pool was named to the 2024 30 Under 30 list in venue management. We are proud of these team members and their contribution to the Kauffman Center. ?? Patrick Donnelly

Chefs Brandon Parker and Justin Voldan teamed up to share their culinary skills with Ensemble members and guests to celebrate the Summer Chef’s Table dinner at the Kauffman Center. With the help from their incredible team and support from sponsor RSM US LLP , they prepared a flavorful four-course meal including a compressed watermelon amuse bouche, red snapper ceviche, seared ancho coffee flatiron steak and edible dropped ice cream. The Ensemble Chef’s Table dinner series is held three times per year. Ensemble is the Kauffman Center’s business membership program consisting of businesses in the KC metro area and is presented by PNC.
