Earlier this week I co-led a program entitled “Antisemitism and Allyship: Turning Bias into Understanding” with Deborah Riegel, creator of https://lnkd.in/g422BGBD and sponsored by Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association #hbamidatlanic region. Jewish people represent a mere 0.2% of the world’s population; yet according to the Anti-Defamation League, antisemitism rose to alarming levels in 2023—up 140%. Antisemitism is a system of bias—which means it is part of, and embedded into, all elements of society. It is often referred to as "the longest hatred," because it has persisted for over two thousand years and can take many forms from hate speech to violence.
