???? We are just one month away from our Farm Field Days event at Schwope Brothers Tree Farms! This FREE event consists of three one-day events, each aimed at a different audience. Wednesday, September 25 - Landscape Architects Thursday, September 26 - Arborists/Municipalities Friday, September 27 - Landscapers/Garden Centers The event begins at 8:30am and runs through 5pm, so be sure to dress comfortably for a day of classroom learning as well as visits to our tree farms. Our speakers are: Christopher Oursler - Landscape Designer "Five Pillars of Regenerative Landscaping" Tim McDonnell - Retired Kansas State Forestry Coordinator "Tree Species for Diversity and the Midwest Climate" Rick Spurgeon - Arborist "Using the Right Products and Techniques for Tree Planting" If you are looking for CEU credits, we've got you covered! MW ISA has approved the following: ISA BCMA Science - 1; Practice - 3; Management - 2; Municipal Specialist - 1; and ISA Certified Arborist - 6. This is a total of thirteen CEUs! Our plants are everywhere! There is a piece of the Berlin Wall on display at Fort Leavenworth and our plants were recently installed as part of the new landscaping around this monument. Because the pieces of wall belong to Germany, an interesting bit of trivia is that inside the concrete circle is actually considered German soil.

Tory Schwope explains that we grow our plants in these slit pots because they create a healthier plant for our customers. The unique design of these pots grow healthy roots which creates a healthy plant. We don't just plant...we PlantRight.
