Let’s talk cheaters… What constitutes cheating may now fall more in a grey zone, but Karat Co-Founder and President, Jeffrey Spector, highlights two things that are becoming increasingly clear. ????
Pretty early on in life, I learned that cheating was bad. The examples I had in my head were always clear. Don’t copy someone else’s homework. Don’t look at their answers on a test. Don’t steal money from the bank while playing Monopoly with your brother (I’m looking at you, Michael Spector). But recent developments have me questioning, what is cheating, really?? Last week I connected with GeekWire’s Kurt Schlosser about Amazon’s crackdown on candidates using AI in interviews, and it seems like everywhere I turn the topic keeps bubbling up. Check out this article to learn more about how I’m thinking about cheating and what we’re doing to solve it at Karat. And P.S. If you are also wrestling with this concept, DO NOT bring it up to your spouse out of the blue by asking them, “how do you define cheating?” It won’t go well. :)
