关于我们
Generosity. Solidarity. Action. Favor. Giving. Duty. Bounty. Kindness. Grace. Work. Mercy. Excellence. The word KARAM holds all of these meanings in a variety of languages. The legal team at KARAM is committed to upholding each of these meanings in our client relationships. Our team of lawyers and legal staff aid immigrants, non-immigrants, employers, families, students and asylum seekers from all over the world. We are a women-owned and led immigration law firm that is committed to providing outstanding services. At KARAM, we are passionate about what we do and truly value obtaining favorable outcomes on behalf of our clients. Not only are each of our attorneys lifelong advocates for immigrants and their families, but they are also experts in the law. KARAM has developed an impressive record within the immigration field – we have won hard fought immigration court cases, aided employers bringing foreign talent to fill specialized roles, persuaded immigration officers of the validity of family relationships, creatively obtained complex work visas, and provided expert guidance in difficult asylum cases. Our attorneys regularly appeal wrongful denials and take on difficult legal questions. The team at KARAM also supports legislation aimed at the integration of immigrants as full members of our society. We believe that the basis of U.S. immigration policy should be to unite families, protect human rights, and to fuel our nation's economic needs.

Navigating the complexities of immigration law can be overwhelming. Our team is committed to providing clear and actionable guidance to local communities, whether it is advice on work authorization, temporary status options, asylum, or citizenship. On August 2nd, Karam Law Attorneys Enes Demirel and Allison Wells shared their immigration expertise with the local Ukrainian community at the UKRAINIAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY CENTER INC in Minneapolis. We hope these types of presentations empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their immigration journey. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities.?
On behalf of the Ukrainian Center, I extend our sincere gratitude to @KaramLaw, especially to Allison Wells and Enes Demirel, for their invaluable seminar on potential immigration options for Ukrainians last Friday. Your pro bono expertise has had a significant impact and motivation on our community. The insights shared were highly beneficial and timely. Amidst complex immigration processes, your seminar provided hope, clarity, and practical guidance to many community members. The Q&A session was particularly appreciated, allowing individuals to address sensitive queries in a supportive environment. Thank you for your profound knowledge and experiences shared with our Ukrainian Community. #Ukraine #TPS #U4U #UACCMN

We are so proud of Alexis Dutt's election to the Executive Committee for our local chapter of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She will be an excellent representative for our local bar and immigrant community!
Senior Immigration Attorney at Karam Law | Secretary, Executive Committee, Minnesota-Dakotas Chapter American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)
Last month I was elected to begin a five-year term on the Executive Committee for the Minnesota-Dakotas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. I am particularly looking forward to serving this year on ExComm with two of my law school sectionmates, Jesse Goldfarb and Tim Sanders Szabo, along with our colleagues Matthew Webster and Maria Miller. Tim and I headed to Chicago last week for the AILA Annual National Conference. The conference is a wonderful opportunity to meet and learn from colleagues practicing U.S. immigration law all over the world. We also had the opportunity to hear directly from government officials — including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director, Ur Jaddou, pictured here. Thanks to my colleagues and staff at Karam Law for supporting me in this new adventure on ExComm. I am excited to get to work! Bonus: Scroll through to see Tim and me remotely joining a MnDak ExComm meeting live from the convention center hallway. ??

Karam Law Attorneys Enes Demirel and Allison Wells presented on a variety of immigration topics at the UKRAINIAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY CENTER INC (UACC) last week. The UACC was founded in 1964 by Ukrainian immigrants who found a new life and homes in Northeast Minneapolis and formed a community and cultural center to call their own. It became a non-profit in 2009. Thank you to the team at UACC for this opportunity to spread awareness about U4U, TPS, and other long-term pathways for Ukrainians living in Minnesota and around the United States!
Thank you to the UKRAINIAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY CENTER INC (UACC) for inviting Enes Demirel and me to speak with the Ukrainian community. We were happy to discuss U4U, TPS, and other immigration opportunities for Ukrainians living in the United States and appreciated all of the great questions asked by attendees! ???? Immigration issues are complex and ever evolving. I always appreciate having the opportunity to engage with our local communities and provide clarity for individuals and families navigating these processes. As we continue to work for inclusivity and support for our neighbors, initiatives like these play a vital role in fostering understanding and empowering communities. We applaud UACC for their commitment to education and advocacy in immigration matters! ?? #immigrationlawyer #tps #U4U #ukraine
