We’ve learned quite a bit over the last ten years. Pallets are packed and our team and gear is headed to Minneapolis to start setting up for the 2024 KidWind World Championships that start Monday 5/4 at American Clean Power Association (ACP) conference. Over 90 teams and 400+ students will join us for a celebration of student creativity, knowledge and dedication to clean powered future. If you are headed to the conference come check us out in Hall A. It will be hard to miss. Lots of cool wind turbines, solar structures and the winning art from our National Wind Energy Art competition will be on display! This week, 4-H'ers from across the nation convened for the National 4-H Conference hosted by USDA. As part of the final days of programming, National 4-H Council welcomed delegations to come together for 4-H Youth Advocacy Day on The Hill.? ? It's remarkable to see young leaders gathered together from across the nation to amplify their voices and learn about the history of 4-H alumni in Congress, the 4-H Congressional Caucus, and important legislation like the Farm Bill.? ? Throughout the day, 4-H'ers delved into the importance of youth advocacy and its profound effect on their communities. They also experienced a tour of the Capitol Building and learned about the legislative process. Some of these young minds will be our future senators, legislative staff, and policy experts. It's all about equipping them for the future of work and beyond!
