KANSASWORKS has workforce centers located throughout the state of Kansas. For more information on how to find a local workforce center near you, visit www.kansasworks.com. Recipients must indicate that the WIOA Title I-financially assisted program or activity in question is an “equal opportunity employer/program,” and that “auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities,” in recruitment brochures and other materials that are ordinarily distributed or communicated in written and/or oral form, electronically and/or on paper, to staff, clients, or the public at large, to describe programs financially assisted under Title I of WIOA or the requirements for participation by recipients and participants. Friendly reminder that Workforce Centers across the state will be closed tomorrow (11/28) AND Friday (11/29). Additionally, Workforce Centers in Arkansas City, Chanute, El Dorado, Emporia, Fort Scott, Independence, Junction City, Lawrence, Manhattan, Pittsburg, Topeka, Wellington and Wichita will close early today (11/27), at 12PM. Workforce Centers in Kansas City, Leavenworth and Lenexa will close early today at 3PM. We will resume regular business hours on Monday (12/2).
