Kansas City Dream Center

Tis the season of so many winter holiday parties. I enjoy helping organize a volunteer event for all of our physicians and nurse practitioners to participate in at the end of the year. This year we had the opportunity to partner with Kansas City Dream Center! This year’s end team holiday party gatherings look a little different for me for a few reasons, 1. My team grew and now I get to lead an amazing group of healthy development coordinators. They joined in on the fun with providers today 2. My other team(s) are not clinicians and they had their own department meetings at our Central location so I dashed away like prancer from one event to the next so I could spend time playing games and sharing stories with the other teams. When I returned to the volunteer event most people were already leaving! I missed the group photo :(. No worries! Our practice administrator, Lacy, said she could photo shop me in! Can you find me? ???????? Many thanks to Brian and his team from Kansas City Dream Center for hosting Vibrant Health ‘s Provider’s and Healthy Development teams this morning as we wrapped Christmas presents and made care packages for the families and unhoused residents they serve in #WyandotteCounty!

Our 7th annual Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway last month was a SUCCESS! About 350 families received turkeys and full family portions of sides thanks to all of our amazing volunteers, sponsors, and donors. We can't wait until next year. We got a KICK out of serving and sharing the Gospel with our local community through our collaborative soccer outreach with YWAM Kansas City and KCK United (Josh Wikler)!
