KPhA Statement on IPAK The Independent Pharmacy Association of Kansas (IPAK) was formed by CURRUS in August of 2024 with the purpose of strengthening a unified independent pharmacy voice, regardless of wholesaler, buying group or other affiliations. Its goal is to support all independent pharmacies in Kansas as they provide essential services to local communities.? IPAK will work closely with the Kansas Pharmacists Association (KPhA), which has been CURRUS’ role, to ensure that our efforts and messaging, both professionally and legislatively, are consistent and united. This includes working together to support expansion of enhanced clinical services, professional billing, legislative efforts, and more. Cohesive messaging is critical, especially in our shared efforts to take a united stand on transparency in the industry.? KsPRN is a program of the Kansas Board of Pharmacy that is administered by the Kansas Pharmacists Association. The Committee on Impaired Pharmacy Practice (CIPP) is currently seeking new members. To express your interest, you can either scan the barcode or visit https://lnkd.in/gRVMg8wu Fill out the form and indicate who you want to be a member. Pharmacy professionals who are interested in serving a 2-year term on the committee are encouraged to complete this form. It is not necessary to be a member of the KPhA in order to serve on the KsPRN/CIPP

On October 25, 2024, American Pharmacists Month was celebrated. The proclamation was accepted by KPhA President Sloane Freeman from Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly. Representing the Kansas Pharmacists Association. KPhA board members Nick Schulte, Joseph Rogers, Jonathan Hansen, Tessa Schnelle, and Ellie Flynn were also present. Additionally, KPhA members Adison Hoppas, Michael Ryan, and Matt Kirmse attended the event
