It is National Cat Day! Perfect day to adopt a pet at any of our area shelters or cat rescue!! Humane Society of Greater Kansas City Helping Hands Humane Society Great Plains SPCA Here are some other ways you can celebrate the day! Volunteer at your local shelter and offer to play with some cats that are available for adoption, clean cages and litter boxes or anything else you could do to help. Donate blankets, food, and clean/new cat toys to animal welfare organizations. Bake some cat-shaped cookies for your family, kids, friends, or office.
