This year at the 2025 AHIMA Advocacy Summit, KHIMA represented fellow Kansans in advocating for the MATCH IT Act, and legislation around the use of AI in non-clinical healthcare settings. Board members in attendance included Recognition Committee chair JLynn Brown, Advocacy Liaison Ange Jefferson, and 2nd Year Delegate Jennifer Manahan. Also in attendance were KHIMA members Darin Challacombe and Mistee Miller.
