Missouri Enterprise is partnering with North Kansas City Business Council to deliver leadership training for new and first time supervisors. Four half day sessions to help those new in roles learn and improve skills for being a successful leader. More details on the link. Class size is limited to 24 people. Looking forward to introducing instructor Koons to the LEAD Center staff as the Topeka Center for Advanced Learning and Careers considers the acquisition of a CIMM program. Glad to learn that the TCALC engineering and mathematics facilitators will also be visiting the FAME facility at KCKCC in the near future. As we continue to focus on workforce development, visiting with CTE instructors about the vast career opportunities available in manufacturing is critical! Similarly, connecting teachers to not only industry experts, but to one another is a future win for students and shops alike!

This year we’ve visited the brewery, the ice rink, and the fowling warehouse. We’ve played golf and tried stand up shuffleboard. Today, members participated in our first sporting clay shoot at Powder Creek. Thanks to all who joined! Looking forward to continuing to provide KC NTMA members with unique networking opportunities!
