?? Today is USF Day of Action! ?? Did you know that without the Universal Service Fund (USF), the rural communities we serve wouldn't have the same access to high-speed internet? ???? Bringing fiber broadband to rural areas is expensive, and the business case just isn’t there. In sparsely populated areas, there aren’t enough customers to cover the cost of building and maintaining fiber networks. That’s where USF steps in. Why does USF matter? ? It helps close the digital divide so rural families, schools, healthcare facilities, and businesses can stay connected. ? It ensures that small towns like ours can access world-class broadband, just like big cities. ? It supports local economies by making remote work, telehealth, and online education possible. We live here. We work here. WE ARE HERE. We are proud to provide gig-speed fiber to our communities, but we couldn’t do it without USF support. Let’s make sure rural voices are heard—broadband isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity!

?? We have exciting news! Fiber construction kicked off today to connect 140 homes and businesses south of Wellington, Kansas to our fiber network! This $2.6 million dollar project was made possible with our Broadband Acceleration Grant win (BAG4 for short) through the Kansas Department of Commerce Office of Broadband Development. We can’t wait to begin connecting customers this summer!
