Kankakee Nursery Company is a 2,500 acre, family-owned, wholesale grower of balled-and-burlapped and container trees and evergreens. We are located one hour south of Chicago in Aroma Park, IL, with service throughout the United States and into Canada. Ever since our beginnings as a small fruit and vegetable stand in 1925, we've strived to provide excellent plants and service to create long-term relationships and friendships. We've always believed if you treat people right, they'll treat you right, and we stick to that principle. To us, the nursery is not just our work, but our life. We have a long history of involvement and leadership within the Illinois Green Industry Association/Illinojs Landscape Contractor Associstion as well as many other national horticultural groups. As a leading wholesale nursery grower in the United States, we feel it is our duty to help the entire industry in whatever way we can.

Kankakee is thrilled to announce the addition of Tim Bostian to its sales team! Tim takes over servicing our customers in Minnesota and Wisconsin and has over 20 years of experience in multiple roles within the green industry. Kankakee has made another first-time addition to our sales team! Steven Wagner becomes our inaugural salesperson in the Northeast/New England region, and he brings decades of horticultural expertise with him. Here’s a little more about Steve, from Steve: “35 plus years of experience in New Jersey nursery production allows me to bring my unique and varied experiences as a grower to assist you in your supply needs. I’m looking forward to offering Kankakee trees and evergreens, grown on wide spacing, thus offering the highest quality available.” In addition to his love of plants, Steve also has a passion for music and service. Steve is currently an assistant director for a community band that plays around 25 shows a year and has also served as an advocate to the Green Industry on the New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Association Board of Directors. He’s a huge fan of musician Paul Winter and has followed him for “literally 50 years”. Welcome to the Kankakee team, Steve!
