Kanawha Stone Company employees Brandon Wills and Ashley Lioi joined popular Baby Dog and West Virginia Governor, Jim Justice yesterday in Mercer County for the groundbreaking of the newest King Coal Highway construction project. KSC will be the prime contractor for the 2.5 mile section of the highway that goes from Airport Road to Littlesburg Road. When completed, the King Coal Highway is expected to run roughly 95 miles through 5 southern WV counties. KSC is proud to continue working on this monumental project!

Kanawha Stone Company employees Andrew Sirbaugh and Gary Ludwig joined KSC President and CEO, Tom Kittredge for the official ribbon cutting of the WVDOT Scott Miller Hill Bypass project near Spencer, WV. The 4.3-mile bypass runs from Tuckers Run to Middle Fork on US 33 and opened this past summer. The ribbon cutting helped celebrate the project’s expedited completion and the hard work that made it happen. KSC is proud to have been the contractor on this monumental project!

Kanawha Stone Company employees Gary Ludwig and Nikki Brewer joined Governor Jim Justice and popular Baby Dog yesterday for a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of work on the southern leg of the Beckley Z-Way project. Kanawha Stone was awarded a contract for $56.7 million to construct a new roadway from US 19 and Airport Road to Interstate 64 at the South Eisenhower Drive interchange. The project connects Beaver with South Eisenhower Drive in Beckley and is designed to ease congestion in the area by widening and relocating a portion of US 19. #BuildingMoreThanProjects Full Story: https://lnkd.in/e-Px8dbr

Yesterday the CAWV along with members Jason Hunter with Triton Construction Inc. , Ashley King Lioi with Kanawha Stone Company, Inc., and Tim Spradling with Benchmark Construction Company, Inc. had the privilege to stop by Scott Teays Elementary School to talk with 3 fifth grade classrooms about careers in the construction industry. The CAWV also launched the Build It Up Toolbox Kits to students at Scott Teays Elementary School. Students will participate in several construction related activities and gain insight on the construction industry. ??♀?? #buildwestvirginia
