The proliferation of tech accelerators and incubators that have popped up over the last decade is wild! Nationally, only *30%* of startups are in business after 5 years. ?? Staying in business past this threshold is a milestone to be celebrated. Embarc Collective launched in March 2019 with 25 Florida-based companies, even before its physical startup hub opened. ?? Since then, it's proven that a model for ongoing and consistent support from a paid team of experienced startup operators, reinforced by a peer community of focused, driven entrepreneurs can increase the survivability of a startup. ?? The result? 96% of the original 25-member companies are still operating and most are still members of the program today. These startups defied the odds of all national survivability trends and I am honored to be working with these entrepreneurs and part of the community as their PR strategist and coach!
