The City Commission will meet in special session today, Monday, March 31, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. This meeting will take place in City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 241 W. South Street. The purpose of the meeting is to consider amendments to an ARPA agreement approved on August 21, 2023.

Yesterday, we proudly joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Edison Community Partners, and all of the project partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Legacy: Senior Housing! It was a joyful celebration with community leaders, neighborhood residents, and project partners all coming together to mark this exciting milestone! This 70-unit affordable housing development in the Northside Neighborhood will provide high-quality, energy-efficient homes for seniors, with modern amenities and rents for residents earning 20%–80% of AMI.
