It was a pleasure to witness the monumental milestone to Port of Long Beach's Pier B On-Dock Rail Support Facility Program last week. KKCS is supporting the Port with Risk Assessment Services. Pier B enhances the Port's rail operations, moving longer trains faster, more reliably, and efficiently. Once complete, it will more than double the current number of trains to 17 per day.
We've broken ground on the America Green Gateway project! Thanks to investments made by the Biden-Harris administration—this expanded rail network at the Port of Long Beach will more than triple the cargo moved by rail, boosting our economy and reducing air pollution.

This project is of regional and national significance to passenger and freight rail traffic. KKCS provides ongoing risk management activities for Los Angeles Metro.
Take a look at what used to be one of the most dangerous intersections in California. We partnered with Los Angeles Metro and provided over $76 million to build an overpass for vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the intersection of Rosecrans and Marquardt Avenues, leaving trains free to sail past in Santa Fe Springs. While construction is busy in the Central Valley, we're working all the way from San Francisco to Anaheim to deliver safe, fast transportation for all of California. #FactFriday
