关于我们

Kaizen Human Capital is a boutique human capital consulting firm in the Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles metro areas. Our methodology focuses on applying evidence-based HR solutions to meet organizational needs. As practitioners and active researchers, we contribute findings and experiences to cultivate an actionable knowledge base for organizations in every sector. HR’s influence in the business world has expanded in magnitude and complexity. The modern HR executive faces issues that were unimaginable even just five years ago. This not only includes traditional HR matters, but also new frontiers, such as the implementation of technology without sacrificing the human element. Undoubtedly, the practice continues to be an art, but the science of HR has grown immeasurably. In response to these new challenges, Kaizen Human Capital implements academic level investigation to clearly identify best practices. Despite the importance of sound business insight and experience, the times clearly call for more. Our approach looks deeply into data to discover techniques and strategies that lead to reproducible business improvements – from company culture all the way down to the bottom line.

?? LINKEDIN LIVE EVENT ?? ?? DEI & Palestine: Ethics, Exceptions, & Taboos ?? Wednesday, January 17, 2024 ?? 5PM PST / 6PM MST / 7PM CST / 8PM EST ?? LinkedIn Live or YouTube Live Join us for a compelling dialogue as we delve into the intersections of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) amid one of the most urgent humanitarian crises today—the ethnic cleansing and genocide in Gaza, Palestine. Rooted in the 1960s American civil rights movements, the modern DEI movement gained momentum as marginalized groups championed equal rights and representation. Despite the corporate world embracing DEI and anti-racism in 2020, recent industry layoffs and the stark challenge practitioners face in defining their role in regard to Palestine raise concerns. As we navigate through the complexities of the ongoing aggression from Israel, our discussion seeks to create a space for understanding and exploration of how historical DEI principles can contribute to a more inclusive and just world. The event will feature expert speakers, a panel discussion, and a Q&A session. Speakers: Dr. Ed Hasan is a Palestinian-American and Muslim author, speaker, and professor. He is the Founder and CEO of Kaizen Human Capital and an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, where he received the Tropaia Outstanding Faculty Award. He recently published a book entitled Embracing Workplace Religious Diversity and Inclusion: Key Challenges and Solutions. Dedicated time for self-reflection, often associated with improved self-awareness, decision-making, and emotional intelligence, improves employee performance and job satisfaction. Unfortunately, very little time in the workplace is dedicated to intentional reflective practices.? A culture centered on self-reflection begins with leadership and their commitment to establishing a supportive workplace environment for learning and development, which is pivotal in shaping organizational success. Leaders can support their teams’ engagement with these 5 Essentials for Workplace Self-Reflection: 1?? Cultivate Continuous Improvement: Promote the importance of learning from experiences and adapting to change.? Communicate the value of continuous improvement and the importance of the self-reflection process. Find opportunities to operationalize self-reflection throughout work practices. 2?? Provide Resources: Allocate time and resources for thoughtful self-reflection engagement.? Consistently integrate reflective practices during meetings. Allow for professional development through workshops, books, and podcasts. Dedicate a quiet space, area, or timeframe for self-reflection. 3?? Encourage Goal Setting: Support personalized employee development, focused on action, acknowledging progress and growth.? Assist with personalized, achievable, organizationally aligned employee goals, regularly review, and adjust accordingly. Frequently recognize and celebrate effort and growth with an established format. 4?? Offer Regular Feedback: Regularly provide constructive feedback, highlighting strengths and opportunities for improvement and emphasizing the learning opportunities inherent in challenges.? Consistent check-in meetings with team members. Establish a meeting practice for team feedback. 5?? Demonstrate Reflective Behavior: Share experiences, challenges, and lessons learned relevant to the self-reflection process to create a culture of openness and growth mindset.? Positively model engagement in the self-reflection process. Regularly share and support shared experiences, challenges, and lessons learned relevant to the self-reflection process. ?? Incorporating these practices supports a workplace nurturing individual growth and collective success, fostering employee motivation and engagement, which determines organizational success. #EmployeeEngagement #Productivity #LeadershipDevelopment #HumanResourceManagement
