Transforming Communities Through Integrated Design & Construction Excellence
关于我们
Established in St. Louis in 1980, KAI Enterprises has grown into one of the leading and most respected design and build firms. We provide delivery-oriented building solutions nationwide with a diverse portfolio of experience, 150+ in-house multi-discipline professionals, and expertise in both design and construction delivery. More importantly, we are designers and builders out to make a difference in our communities. Through our integrated design and build strategy, we offer both award-winning design services (architecture, interior design and engineering) and build services (general contracting and program, project and construction management) all under one roof. Our goal is to incorporate these two strengths to deliver the best value, solution and people to achieve your vision, budget and schedule. Currently serving as the Executive Architect for the National Juneteenth Museum, KAI seeks out culturally conscious, and politically sensitive projects that will make lasting differences in the lives they touch. KAI was built upon a foundation of teamwork and collaboration and has since grown into one of the largest minority-owned firms in the AEC industry. For more than 40 years, we have been instrumental in transforming communities through its expertise in residential, commercial, K-12, higher education, healthcare, science and technology, aviation, mobility, sports and entertainment, government, water and community-focused projects. https://linktr.ee/kaienterprises

The St. Louis Community College Nursing and Health Sciences Center Open House and Ribbon Cutting event was Thursday on the Florissant Valley Campus. We are so excited to see this building open to the community, and most especially to the students and staff of STLCC! Classes are already underway in this brand new building, which expands capacity for programs like nursing, dental hygiene and radiology technology. This is KAI’s second building for STLCC, and we’re grateful to be their partners as they grow. KAI provided Design and MEP Engineering services to the Nursing and Health Sciences Center, which serves as a new front door to the Florissant Valley campus. #TransformingCommunities #HigherEdDesign #Design #Engineering #AEC #STLCC

As we come to the end of Black History Month, we’re sharing a reminder that creating positive change in the world takes many forms. KAI is a team of diverse and talented professionals who are driven to make their world better by Transforming Communities through integrated design and construction excellence. It’s been an honor to amplify some of their voices this month and hopefully inspire those considering a career in AEC! KAI Interior Designer Jasmine Martin NOMA, IIDA Assoc. collaborates with architects and engineers to bring thoughtful, human-centered design solutions to life. “It isn’t just about buildings – it’s about creating spaces that uplift, inspire, and serve the people who use them.” Jasmine has found a profession that perfectly fits her skills and talents, but she didn’t always picture herself in a career in AEC. “Growing up in a family of medical professionals, I always thought I’d follow the same path,” said Jasmine. “I stated college as a nursing major, driven by my desire to serve others.” After her first year, she found the courage to change majors, which changed her path but not her purpose. “I’m still positively impacting people’s lives, just in a different way than I first imagined.” #TransformingCommunities #BlackHistoryMonth #AEC

L. Lorraine Jackson, AIA, RID, NOMA started her professional journey in the hospitality industry working for a restaurant corporation. Today she is a Project Architect at KAI, overseeing the design and execution of architectural projects. “Coming to KAI was part of an unexpected but rewarding second career for me,” said Raine. During Black History Month, we’re sharing the unique journeys that brought our team members to AEC. For Raine, her journey led her to a new vocation. “Architecture and design are more than careers. They are opportunities to shape the world around you.” At KAI, Transforming Communities starts with listening. “Our strength lies in our ability to engage meaningfully with stakeholders and the community,” said Raine. “I help bring KAI’s vision to life by ensuring that each project reflects the needs and aspirations of the community.” #TransformingCommunities #BlackHistoryMonth #AEC

We are thrilled to share this new building on the Dallas College Cedar Valley Campus! The Student Engagement Center is a multi-functional facility where students, educators, and the surrounding community can come together to learn, collaborate, and engage with each other. This $24.4 million investment in the Cedar Valley community is also home to the Early College Center, where high school students can earn college credits in a supportive environment. KAI provided a comprehensive list of services to this project including architecture, interior design, programming, MEP engineering and construction administration. “We wanted to create a space that met everyone’s needs, and that meant designing a building that is the heartbeat of the Cedar Valley Campus,” said KAI Vice President Derwin Broughton, AIA, NOMA, NCARB, WELL AP.
