Kai Tak Sports Park is proud to have received the Prestigious ESG Accomplishment of the Year, Outstanding ESG Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Performance Awards and ESG Commendation Certification from the Outstanding ESG Enterprises Recognition Scheme 2024 jointly organized by SING TAO NEWS CORPORATION LIMITED 星島新聞集團 and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. By staging international events with world-class facilities, Kai Tak Sports Park has taken lead in promoting green sports practice in terms of #ESG during the early design and build stages. This includes green initiatives of incorporating green building and ecological designs, implementing energy-efficient and renewable energy systems, enhancing accessibility and connectivity with the surrounding community to encourage the use of public transportation by citizens. In terms of social responsibility, Kai Tak Sports Park established the Kai Tak Sports Initiative (KTSI) in 2018 to promote healthy sports lifestyle across various age groups, hosting over 150 community sports program and attracting more than 150,000 participants. As the future #homevenue of Hong Kong, Kai Tak Sports Park will become the largest integrated sports and entertainment landmark upon its opening in the first quarter of 2025. This is a crucial step in testing the operations of what promises to be Hong Kong's largest integrated sports and entertainment landmark. As we prepare for this milestone, we encourage participants and spectators holding event tickets to plan ahead. Due to ongoing construction, please take the nearby MTR to Sung Wong Toi Station (Exit D) to access the venue, as there will be no parking or drop-off areas available on-site. ?? The testing and rehearsal phases will run from the end of October to February next year, providing practical operational experience for the Sports Park and its stakeholders.
