With the recent passage of Proposition 2, California voters have unlocked $10 billion to modernize and repair education facilities, ensuring safer and more innovative learning environments for their students. ? Here’s how the funding breaks down: ? $4B for modernization and replacing aging portables ? $3.3B for new construction ? $600M for career and technical education facilities ? $600M for charter school facilities ? $115M to remove lead from school water ? But managing funding sources across programs and projects can get complicated. ? That’s where Kahua for Sources of Funds comes in. Kahua provides a complete solution to streamline the dynamic management of funds, empowering school districts to stay ahead as they plan for these exciting opportunities. ? Curious how leaders are tackling these challenges? AJ Waters recently shared insights from GovTech’s webinar, where Roman Pereyaslavsky’s team discussed navigating financial management for K-12 projects. ? Ten Kahua employees were on the ground earlier this week, working with communities to restore more than just buildings; they helped rebuild hope. Through innovation, teamwork and compassion, recovery became a shared mission. https://lnkd.in/en64mHuj Thanks to Kahua's Maggie Caesar, Kathleen Edwards, Len Hicks, Carter Janse, Hanna Marie Lucero, Patricia Cavanaugh McCarter, Christopher Nash, Alan N., Mike Ritchie and AJ Waters for taking on this challenge. None of this could have been done without the support and organizational efforts of Kahua CEO Scott Unger & HR Manager Molly Ridout! #kahualife #enablinginnovation
