The Kahler Slater Studio is underway with students from UWM's School of Architecture & Urban Planning and UIUC's Illinois School of Architecture joining us in our offices to get hands-on, real world experience in architectural practice.?This year, the Chicago-based project is focused on residential and cultural typologies.?The project will be viewed through the lenses of equity and affordability, encouraging students to find ways to weave in community-oriented and wellness amenities.?We look forward to sharing more about the project as the semester goes forward. This summer, we were proud to once again support NOMA’s Project Pipeline.?Kahler Slater’s team engaged with chapters in Madison, Milwaukee, Richmond, and Chicago to assist their Project Pipeline Camps which focus on empowering young people to affect change in their community through design. We are celebrating two Kahler Slater projects that secured recognition as part of this year's InBusiness Commercial Design Awards. The awards honor the best commercial design projects built in Wisconsin by local companies.?We are proud to be celebrated alongside our clients and partners.
