Looking Back, Moving Forward The KNBA team gathered for our annual meeting—an opportunity to reflect on the past year, plan for the future, and share the exciting work happening across our firm. From project highlights to strategic goals, we took time to celebrate our successes and align on what’s next. A highlight of the day was hearing from Ed as he reflected on 45 years in architecture. His advice? "If you don’t know how to solve a problem, the first step is probably too big. Constant incremental improvement." It’s hard to measure in the moment, but as he put it, "After 45 years, you can see it." We wrapped up the day the best way we know how—sharing stories, raising a toast, and celebrating all we accomplished in 2024. Here’s to another year of meaningful work! 🍻 #KNBA #Architecture #PlanningTheFuture #CreateRestoreSustain

At this year’s State of the Downtown meeting, the message was clear—Louisville’s downtown is thriving again. With new investments in housing, the transformation of surface parking lots, and businesses returning to office spaces, the city is moving forward with new energy. As the presentation highlighted key buildings that shape our downtown, we were honored to see so many familiar places—614 West Main, 626 West Main, 111 Whiskey Row, Louisville Slugger Field, Frazier History Museum, 21C Hotel and Museum, the Belvedere—all projects we’ve had the privilege to be part of over the years. And with our own office rooted downtown for more than 30 years, we’ve always believed in the strength and potential of this community. Downtown is Back—And We’re Proud to Be Part of Its Story. #KNBA #DowntownLouisville #Architecture #UrbanRevitalization

We had a great time at the Junior Achievement Inspire (Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana) expo on Friday, helping to support AIA-CKC. K. Norman Berry Associates Architects PLLC
The AIA CKC was pleased to sponsor a booth at the Junior Achievement Inspire career expo again year! Several of our local architects and designers participated to engage with middle and high school students about careers in design. The students loved drawing sketches and viewing digital architectural visualization demos. Always a rewarding event full of conversations about “What is Architecture?”
