?Do you realize how many great candidates you are missing out on if you are not checking in on your recruiting process? If your automated systems have outdated or irrelevant parameters based on the role you are seeking to fill, you are missing out on MANY amazing potential team members and leaders. ?? ??There is a story behind each "unique" resume and job history. Take myself for an example...executive leadership roles mixed with regional manager and portfolio manager roles. At first glance, it looks a little "interesting" ?? but upon a short discussion, any person I speak with understands each role was a choice based on my need to either gain knowledge for my aresenal ?????? or to contribute to a team of people in need of strong leadership ????. Sometimes that looks like a title jump forward or back, but it has grown me into one heck of a diverse leader and professional! (And helped a lot of people along the way ????) ?I do believe there are numerous bad hires vs excellent hires simply due to a more system friendly resume format, keywords, or fit of a parameter that is kicking the more qualified out of the running. And you don't even speak with them...it comes in the form of an automated system response. And even worse, it states that someone highly or overqualified is simply not qualified for the role. It is maddening to your potential candidates. ?? I am interested to know some parameters you have set to "weed out" the "unqualified" candidates...what are you making the cut with? Is it time on a job, exploration outside of their industry or a break in work history, lack of education or degree? ?
