I don’t care if you start at 9 AM sharp. I don’t care if you work from home, a coffee shop, or your car. I care about one thing: results. If I hired you, it’s because I trust you. I expect you to take ownership, deliver, and do your best work - however that looks for you. That means: ? You don’t need to justify a day off. ? You don’t need to explain why you’re logging off early. ? You don’t need to feel guilty for having a life outside of work. Life happens. We’re all human. Leadership isn’t about control. It’s about empowerment. Want to build a culture of trust? Do this: 1/ Hire for values, not just skills ? A strong resume means nothing without the right mindset. 2/ Set clear expectations ? Ambiguity breeds frustration. Be specific about deliverables and goals. 3/ Give people the resources to thrive ? If they’re stuck, it’s your job to unblock them. 4/ Step back and trust them ? Nothing kills motivation faster than micromanagement. ? Trust people, and they’ll do their best work. ? Control them, and they’ll leave. Because great teams don’t happen by accident. They happen by design. - - - P.S. Have you ever left a job because of lack of freedom? ?? Repost to help others in your network ? Follow Cristina Grancea for more content like this.
