We recently completed a low voltage retrofit for a client that had a defective main breaker. The breaker in question, an obsolete Siemens SBS, was replaced by a Siemens WL. From initial call to restoration took 8 days - primarily due to breaker availability. Our team was tasked with replacing all of the internal bussing, modifying the dead front panel covers, and modifying the existing supports to fit the new WL breaker - all in the field with our mobile fabrication shop. Our engineering department was on hand to support design and modeling to ensure proper spacing, bracing, and clearances were observed. The team was on site for two days and we successfully re-energized and restored power for the client.
