October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to remind ourselves of the ongoing fight against a disease that affects 1 in 8 women and 1 in 1000 men in the U.S. ?? Let's be proactive in spreading awareness, supporting those battling breast cancer, and reminding everyone of the importance of early detection. This cause is especially close to us at the Women’s Leadership Network. We’re committed to helping women navigate career challenges, especially during times of health crises. Through the JVS SoCal programs we support, we provide free mentoring, career training, and job placement assistance to women across Los Angeles and Southern California. Since 2008, the WLN has raised over $6 million, empowering tens of thousands of women to rebuild their careers and lives.
