Each has a different motivation and need so give them different messages! ?? Abandoners: Have an item in their cart and are exiting, a discount + countdown timer is more likely to appeal to them and keep them onsite. They know what they want, give them a reason to buy it...today. ??♀? General Exiting Traffic: They didn't know enough to add an item to their cart so giving them a discount isn't going to change that.
