What an amazing day at the Middle School Law Camp in Indianapolis! ? We kicked off the day with an inspiring session by Chief Judge Tanya Pratt of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, who shared her journey and wisdom on navigating the judiciary and leadership. Her stories truly illustrated the importance of leadership in the law. ?? Next, we dove into a fascinating Case Analysis on the Pennsylvania School District and Fake TikTok Accounts, led by Jimmie McMillian, Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Corporate Counsel. We explored how law applies to real-world situations in the digital age, helping us understand how law shapes our online lives. ?? Our Law Student and Attorney Panel brought together a dynamic group of professionals, including Andrew Dettmer, Justin Hornbuckle, Taylor Nunley, Hanna Gutwein, and moderator Esther (Tabitha) Earbin Sandlin. These inspiring individuals shared their journeys into law and gave us a glimpse of what it's like to pursue a legal career, from law school to practicing as attorneys. ?? We were honored to hear from Honorable Judge Waverly Crenshaw during his keynote, offering invaluable wisdom on leadership and the role of the judiciary in driving change. Later, Tatjana Stoljarova walked us through the Art of Negotiation, equipping us with practical strategies for success. ?? Our panel on the Legal Side of Media, Fashion, Sports, and Technology, featuring experts like Loren E. Mulraine, Esq., Valeria Williams, and Stephanie M. Hoffmann, explored how law intersects with today’s most dynamic industries, giving us a fresh perspective on legal innovation. ??
