Last week, JCF helped announce the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s Michigan Climate Investment Accelerator (MCIA) alongside representatives from the national clean energy financing community, including JCF Coalition Partners Inclusiv, Opportunity Finance Network, and Michigan Saves. The MCIA aims to maximize investment from the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund by offering more families and businesses access to financing for clean energy technologies, creating good-paying jobs and lowering energy costs. “The Justice Climate Fund is a proud supporter of the Michigan Climate Investment Accelerator,” said JCF CEO Amir Kirkwood. “In partnership with our network of community lenders, JCF supports projects that reduce emissions, lower energy costs, create jobs, and strengthen the resilience of local economies. Together, we’re building a healthier, more equitable future where underserved families and businesses thrive in the clean energy transition.” Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gPMeB5wH
