The report highlights the tireless efforts of community legal centres in resolving over 190,000 cases, often under the pressure of chronic underfunding, and turning away over 390,000 people in need due to capacity constraints. The statistics are staggering, especially in the area of domestic and family violence, which accounts for up to 80% of the workload in rural and remote areas. These stories, like that of Samantha Schulte, are a sobering reminder of the human lives impacted behind these numbers.
