Seeking better paths through education and job training.
关于我们
Justamere Foundation provides scholarship and supporting grants to help eliminate obstacles to a self sustaining income. Our mission is to find those programs that are not supported with traditional government or private funding. Often the things that keep someone from their potential are a collection or small challenges that added together make the thing impossible. A $500 fee might as well be $5 million if you have no way of getting it. We look for programs that help students find their way through these challenges and live their best life. This could be a scholarship that fills the financial gap, or a fund that provides the necessities to complete their training (i.e. boots, special uniforms, or a watch with a second hand for a nursing student). Other programs like financial coaching, after school programs, and childhood literacy can also go a long way to preparing someone for their brightest future. We seek out those programs that will make that kind of impact. We would love to learn about any organization that can help us do that work.

Another state makes an investment in their kids future. That makes almost HALF of US States working to support childhood literacy by putting books in our littlest hands. We're hoping to include Pennsylvania as part of this prestigious list. Please ask your state Senators and Representatives to co-sponsor this amazing initiative.
??Exciting News! ??We’re thrilled to announce that all Kentucky children under five can now enroll in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! To celebrate this incredible milestone of full statewide coverage, Dolly Parton herself visited Kentucky today for a special Imagination Library Statewide Celebration. Justamere is privileged to have a voice at the table. We're here to make jobs happen for our vets.
I just wrapped up a fantastic trip to Washington DC where I met with Veteran and Workforce leaders to address some of the training/employment gaps for our transitioning military. I'm so proud to walk these hallowed halls with some of the most influential players in this arena. #TaskForceMovement

Looking at all the amazing potential in our kids when they are given the gift of 'access'. You can't be what you can't see and CreateAccess has given their kids a vision of a successful future. Thank you.
We are so happy and grateful to announce the official launch of CreateAccess! Founded by Liz Dailey and Patrick Cozzi, CreateAccess is a nonprofit that broadens access to opportunities in 3D by providing onramps to 3D creation through exposure education. Our freely-available, beginner-friendly microcourses introduce new creators to professional 3D tools with step-by-step, personally-relevant projects that they can complete on their own or through programs in their school or community. For the past year, we’ve been establishing our model, developing microcourse materials, and facilitating in-person 3D creator programs. We hope and believe that we’ve helped lower barriers for new creators, ignited their curiosity, and built their confidence that they can be part of the dynamic and growing 3D community. CreateAccess is just getting started, and we’re thrilled by the momentum and excitement we’ve seen so far. Our first microcourses helped creators bring objects from their own lives into 3D experiences using Polycam and Unreal Editor for Fortnite. We can’t wait to build more microcourses and continue to cultivate a community that helps pave the way for anyone who wants to enter the field. To the many folks who have encouraged, connected, collaborated, and offered their time and expertise to us, please know that your support means the world. Early supporters include:? ? -Our microcourse implementation partners, including Malvern Preparatory School, Upper Darby Arts & Education Foundation, Upper Darby Library, Delco Boxing Academy, and Kean University -Daniel Haehn and Funda Durupinar from UMass Boston, who adapt our microcourses for their classes and invite students to contribute their own content -Rowan University and Lincoln University, who enthusiastically gave us space to share our mission and model -The education team at Epic Games, including Steve Isaacs, Cathy Cheo-Isaacs, and Julie Lottering, who creatively and meaningfully engage and uplift creators of all experience levels, and who give us platforms to share our work -Lori Cushman and her amazing gift for bringing people with shared vision together -Maker Camp and Lega Scolastica eSports, who trusted us to provide educational materials for their learners -Bentley Systems, who generously donated office space for our summer team, connected us to impactful collaborators, and hosted an early microcourse pilot Our incredible team of educators, technologists, student interns, volunteers, and board members have worked tirelessly with us to build our foundations. Thank you so so much for believing in something you couldn’t yet see, and taking a chance offering your time and talent to support something new. We couldn’t do it without you. 3D creation is for everyone. Join us on our journey to broaden access to 3D creation and help close opportunity gaps in tech. Check out our microcourses and learn more about our work and how you can get involved at https://createaccess.org/?

Justamere supports transition programs for the USO and as a thank you, they invited us to watch Fleet Week from the Intrepid Museum in NYC. What an adventure. So inspiring. Thank you, USO, for all the hard work you do for our military.
I had the wonderful opportunity to see the Fleet Week Parade of Ships from the Intrepid Museum in NYC as a guest of the USO. It was so inspiring - those kids stood at attention for hours. We even made the local news (1:27)! Thank you USO for all you do. https://lnkd.in/eFBisQMd

I love a big check picture..... even in the wind. Thanks to Jan Mitchener for all her hard work getting books in the hands of our youngest readers. Right now, close to a third of all kids in Chester County under 5 are getting a book a month mailed to their home. It's miraculous what a few pages of words can do for a kid. https://lnkd.in/e4ha5vGb
